22/08/18
When you’re following a special diet, choosing a restaurant can be a challenge. To help make your decision a little bit easier, we’re sharing the top gluten-free dishes at some of Jersey’s most popular restaurants.
Zephyr at The Royal Yacht
Although there are many gluten-free dishes available on the Zephyr menu, the Quinoa and Halloumi Salad is a go-to classic. This gluten-free fave includes quinoa, cherry tomato, cucumber, rocket, apricots, pumpkin and sunflower seeds drizzled with olive oil, lemon and coriander and topped with halloumi.
Restaurant Sirocco at The Royal Yacht
A visit to Restaurant Sirocco is an absolute must for anyone who is gluten-free. The talented chefs will endeavour to make any of their dishes gluten free for you as long as you inform your waiter. All of Sirocco’s sauces are also gluten-free. If you’re looking for some inspiration, then try the Grilled Dover sole off the bone with caper butter sauce and Jersey Royals from the A La Carte Menu.
The Terrace at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa
Enjoy delicious food whilst taking in one of Jersey’s best views when dining at The Terrace. The Terrace offers a wide range of gluten-free dishes, but the star of the menu is the Vegetable Thai Green Curry. Made with creamy coconut milk, aromatic spices and plenty of veg, and served on a bed of lemon rice with a charred pineapple garnish, this dish is sure to tickle your taste buds.

Tassili at Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa
Tassili, the 3 AA Rosette restaurant at Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa offers plenty of choice for anyone following a gluten-free diet. Nearly all of the dishes on the restaurant’s Jerriais menu can be made gluten-free. Read all about Tassili’s Jerriais menu here.
Samphire
Offering all day dining options within the main restaurant, a beautiful private dining room, an al fresco terrace, two intimate bars, and an all-weather rooftop garden, stylish Samphire is a great go-to choice for gluten-free dining whatever your mood. Many dishes on the restaurant’s menu are naturally gluten-free, and most other dishes can be modified to accommodate gluten-free diets. Why not try the market fish, grilled on the bone with capers and parsley or for a vegetarian option, we recommend the Risotto with radicchio, gorgonzola, apple and walnut.
Please be aware that, in general, all food is prepared in a kitchen where nuts, gluten and other allergens are present and menu descriptions do not include all ingredients. For more information, please speak to your waiter.
