Two of Jersey’s most treasured institutions are joining forces for one night to celebrate the very best of our island’s produce as part of this year’s Taste Jersey Food Festival. 

The Atlantic Hotel and La Mare Wine Estate share a longstanding partnership, with the hotel proudly featuring many of the Estate’s products in its day-to-day offerings. Sun-Ripened Strawberry Jam has been a breakfast favourite for many years, guests are welcomed with complimentary Jersey Butter Shortbread on arrival, and the celebrated cheese trolley is accompanied by La Mare’s renowned chutneys. 

For this special occasion, Executive Chef Will Holland has devised a unique five-course menu that reimagines some of his signature dishes with the creative addition of La Mare’s beautifully crafted products. House-cured Gravadlax will be infused with Jersey Royal Gin and served with a refreshing G+T Granita. Classic Duck à l’Orange will be glazed with Three Fruit Marmalade, with the sauce enriched by Barrel-Aged Whisky Marmalade. An elegant Apple Tart will be elevated with Spiced Apple & Black Butter, adding depth and warmth to the dessert course.  

Drinks will feature prominently throughout the evening. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Collector’s Edition Pétillant Naturel, with a short introduction from La Mare’s Head Winemaker, Jordi Sanvicens Moreno, who will be present throughout dinner. A carefully curated optional wine pairing will also be available, alongside a digestif of Pomelier to conclude the experience.

Will has created a truly inspiring menu, and it promises to be a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable evening.”

The dinner will be held in Ocean, The Atlantic’s elegant four AA Rosette restaurant overlooking St Ouen’s Bay.  With sweeping views across the gardens to the Atlantic Ocean beyond, and Jersey’s renowned sunset as a backdrop, Ocean provides a refined and atmospheric setting for this exclusive event.  

The experience is priced at £95 per person, including reception drink, canapés, five courses, coffee, petits fours and a digestif.  An optional drinks pairing is available for £50 per person. With limited availability, early booking is strongly recommended.
