The team at de Gruchy is delighted to welcome Jersey-based author and international speaker Douglas Kruger to the store on Wednesday 29th October from 2pm, where he will speak about his latest suspense thriller, House of the Judas Goat.

Timed to coincide with Halloween week, the afternoon promises intrigue and atmosphere, with Douglas reading an excerpt from the novel and answering questions.

The ‘meet the author’ event is free to attend. Customers are invited to drop in, listen and pick up a signed copy of what promises to be a gripping page-turner.

The event forms part of a wider programme of in-store activity to mark the Halloween season. On Friday 31st October, de Gruchy will be embracing the Halloween spirit with complimentary face painting in the Arcade between 12.30pm and 3.30pm.

Store colleagues will also be getting into the spooky spirit dressing up and creating an exciting and eerie atmosphere throughout the store.
